Deaf Link offers a number of services specifically designed
to help you support members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
communities who are your customers, clients, employees, etc. Deaf Link provides
access for people who rely on American Sign Language (ASL) through Video
Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Pre-Recorded
Interpreting (PRI), we can
help you support a thriving community that is often overlooked
by most businesses.
The Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities have a consolidated
buying power well into the billions of dollars. Disabled Americans are a
vast, largely untapped market to which businesses should actively cater.
Deaf Link's VRI and PRI services are here to help you tap into this market, while
also helping to promote a community atmosphere that will grow and flourish.
Deaf Link actively provides communication access services
for employment offices, health care facilities, law enforcement
offices, retail establishments, banks, hotels and a number of other community-based
establishments that are devoted to services for people with
disabilities. Deaf Link services are designed for quick and accurate communication
access; this satisfies the majority of interpretation needs required by
the Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
In emergency situations, Deaf Link also supports those individuals who rely on American
Sign Language, Text or Audio to communicate through the creation and maintenance of the
Accessible Hazard Alert System (AHAS™) that is available for
television stations. The Accessible Hazard Alert System
with Individual Notification (AHAS-IN™) service is in place for people with
communication disabilities to have quick and timely access to information in their
preferred modality that can often mean the difference between life and death.
Shelter Link™ provides Video Remote Interpreting
stations in emergency shelters.
At Deaf Link, we are proud to be part of a global community that is working hard to ensure that
everyone has accurate, easy access to information and services. Please feel free to
contact us so that we may help you better serve
this growing community.
